Meditation is focusing the mind on a particular object, thought or activity, it helps train & focus awareness as well as divert your attention away from negative thoughts, feelings or pain. It helps you achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state of mind. Here's 5 helpful tips to master it!

Meditate daily. Try to meditate everyday, especially if you feel stressed or anxious. This will refocus and calm your mind.
Become aware. Choose to become aware of any negative thoughts on a daily basis and choose your response to situations.
Live in the now. Live more in the present moment and acknowledge the here and now... Are you currently in a bad situation? Or are you focusing too much on the past, future or someone else's opinion on something?
Stop obsessing. Try not to obsess and compete with others or spend too much time scrolling through social media. This takes us away from being mindful and fills our minds with negativity and irrelevant thoughts.
